Wallace J. Artis Jr.

Our loving father Wallace Junius Artis was called to Glory on the morning of May 14, 2009. His soul winged its flight from the world of sin, sorrow and pain to a place of eternal rest. Wallace Junius Artis was born on May 8, 1935 in Jackson, North Carolina to the late jack and Reba Artis. He received his early education in the public schools in Jackson. In September, 1956, he married Ernestine Artis and to their union seven children were born. He was preceded in death by two sons, Junius Lee Boone and Roy Chester Artis; his parents and one brother, Chester Roy Artis. Mourning his passing while cherishing his memory are his children: Charles Boone of Paterson, NJ, Wiley and Rheby Walton of Atlanta, GA, Antonio Artis of VA, Anita Artis of Paterson, NJ and Roshima Artis of Paterson, NJ; one brother, Edwin Artis of VA; one uncle, Leo Artis of Baltimore, MD; dearest friend, Shirley Mann and her family all of Paterson, NJ; sixteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
