Wallace Carey Obituary
Wallace proudly served in the U. S. Army. He loved watching his hometown sport teams, the Cavs, the Guardians and the Browns. He enjoyed detailing cars as well.
Most of all, he treasured time spent with his loving nieces and nephews.
Wallace was known as the life of the party. He had a heart of gold and kept all around him laughing.
Surviving family members include his siblings Lisa Gilbert (Jeff), Marva Ross (Wayne), Dennis Carey (Amanda), and Michael Shannon (Audra); and a host of nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents Wallace Sr. and June Carey, brother Michael Spearmint and sister Barbara Spearmint.
Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 11am at the Second Baptist Church, 427 Chapman Lane, Elyria.
