Wallace Marlin Flurry,88, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025 at NMMC-Gilmore in Amory. He was born on May 19, 1937 in Itawamba County, MS to parents Leonard Cecil Flurry and Serelda (Nash) Flurry. He lived most of his life in Lee County, MS but he had been residing at Oaktree Manor Assisted Living Center in Amory. Wallace retired from True Temper Sports in Amory, MS as a machine operator. He was of the Baptist faith and he was a Mason. He was an avid car and truck enthusiast.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 2 pm in the Chapel of Tisdale-Lann Memorial Funeral Home in Nettleton, MS with Rev. Sammy John Raper officiating. Burial will be in Liberty Cemetery.
He is survived by one son, Marlin Flurry of TN; one brother, Charles Flurry (Dorothy) of Nettleton; one daughter-in-law, Gail Flurry of Nettleton and several grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Ronnie and Darryl Flurry and one grandson, Chris Flurry.
Visitation will be prior to service at the funeral home from 1-2 pm.
