KINGSPORT - Wallace Frank Ramey of Kingsport passed away unexpectedly on December 4, 2025.
Frank was born in Clinchport, Va. on April 3, 1955. He retired from Tennessee Eastman Company several years ago.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Osha Ramey and father, Claude Ramey and his sister, Wanda Jo Lawson.
Frank is survived by his brothers; Larry Ramey of St. Augustine, Fl and Mike Ramey of Gate City, Va; niece, Alison Ramey Gant of St. Augustine, Fl; nephews, Brian Ramey, of Columbus, Ga, Wesley Ramey of Knoxville, Tn, and Aaron Ramey of Kingsport, Tn.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Shriners Children's Hospital in memory of Wallace Frank Ramey.
Carter-Trent Funeral Home in Church Hill is serving the Ramey family.

I´m so sorry for your loss. I worked with Walley in physical therapy at gate city for 5 years. We usually talked almost every weekend . He was such a good friend. He will be missed. I tried to call him several times and couldn´t get hold of him and I looked on the funeral sites and didn´t see anything but today I searched a little more and found it online. I´m so sorry.

Frank and I played football together at Rye Cove High School in the early 70´s. Was a good friend, soft spoken, last time I saw him he told me worked at Eastman and driving a classic car. I can´t remember what it was, but I told him I liked his car. That was the last time I saw him. May he be at peace now from the burdens of this life. May Gods Blessings be on his entire family.

Frank was my classmate at Rye Cove High School. We graduated together in 1972 and he was a quiet gentle friend. So sorry for our classmate loss.
