Graveside services for Mr. Wallace "Wally" Vloedman, Jr., 72, of Atlanta, Texas, will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Linden Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden.

Wally was born on May 24, 1953, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Wallace Lee Vloedman, Sr. and Vera Louise Crabtree Vloedman. He passed away on November 21, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and love.

Wally proudly served in the United States Navy. He spent many years working at the Cass County Veterinarian Clinic in Atlanta, where he was known for his deep affection for animals. He was a compassionate and gentle man who never met a stranger and always wore a smile. His love for life extended to his work on the farm, where he found joy in simple tasks, like keeping cobwebs at bay.

Above all, Wally was known for his unwavering kindness, generosity, and consideration toward others. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, and his presence will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Wally was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Lee Vloedman, Sr. and Vera Louise Vloedman; his grandparents, Anno Andrew "Andy" Vloeman and Ida Isabelle Giasson Vloedman; and his beloved fur baby, Buddy Boo-Boo.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Susan Vloedman of Atlanta, Texas; his sons, Christopher Lee Vloedman (Janey), Andrew Daniels Vloedman (Ryan), and Tyrone Feldon (Anna); his daughter, Emily Suzanne Raines (Darren); grandchildren Spencer Raines (Savanna), Peyton Raines, Victoria Vloedman, and Sara Vloedman; his brothers, David Vloedman and Keith Vloedman; his sister-in-love, Linda Jones; and the mother of his children, Sue Adams.

Wally's family takes comfort in knowing that his love and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. The family welcomes you to share stories about Wally on the guestbook section of Wally's obituary page on our website. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Linden Cemetery Association or the Cass County Veterinarian Clinic for animal care and rehabilitation.
