He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Mary Ann Yoakum; parents, Wallace Sr. and Launa Yoakum; brothers, Gillis Yoakum and Jerry Yoakum; twin sisters, Pauline and Lorene Yoakum; brothers-in-law, Ray Sweat, Kelmer Cupp, and Ronnie Cates; sister-in-law, Helen Riley; and grandson, Gabriel Yoakum.
Wallace is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis (Beth), David (Stephanie) and Wayne Yoakum; twin grandsons, Isaac and Benjamin; siblings, Faye-Sis Sweat, Harry (Pam) Yoakum; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Betty Yoakum, Shirley Bible, Jimmy (Jocie) Cates, Nelson Riley and Betty Cupp; and several nieces and nephews.
He will be laid to rest with his wife at Pollard Cemetery in a private service.
