Diane Walston passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026, surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of strength, devotion, and deep family bonds. Born on July 29, 1968, Diane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished member of her extended family. Her presence brought comfort, guidance, and unwavering love to those fortunate enough to know her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Key Walsh; father, Robert Joseph Willis, Sr; brother, Robert Joseph Willis, Jr.; and her beloved son, Christopher Wayne Wicker.

Diane is survived by her devoted husband, Eddie James Walston. She leaves behind her children, Tiffany Lea Conken, and her husband Jeremy, Hailey Lynn Walston and Aaron James Walston. Diane was a proud and loved grandmother to CJ, Liam, Lilly, Maverick, and Angel, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

She is also survived by her in-laws, Jackie and Anthony Hunter; her sister-in-law, Shelia Ann Walston, and her wife, Bri; and her brother-in-law, Timmy Hunter. Diane shared a particularly close bond with her special niece and nephew, Crystal and Paul Godfrey, along with several other nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Diane will be remembered for her kindness, resilience, and the deep love she had for her family. Her home and heart were always open, and she made those around her feel supported and cared for. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched and the family she cherished above all else.

Celebration of Life service has been rescheduled for Sunday, February 1, 2026 at 2:30 PM at Lemon Springs Community Building (680 Greenwood Road, Sanford, NC).
