Dear Walt Baker Family, please accept my sincere condolences on the loss of your father. At first, I have to admit that I smiled while thinking to myself: I knew he and Mary could not be separated for long and she was calling him to travel through eternity together.--It was so evident from the very beginning of their relationship, it was predestined.
And so it was;---- from the O/R at the animal to the O/R at Mercy HOSPITAL. They were always a team. My grandmother (Baba) Catherine Peremba, ....who by the way, birthed Mary for her mother Elizabeth,.... was one of the first Cataract surgeries Walt performed.....and of course pro bono. If God ever created a man for a woman, he definitely had Mary and Walt in mind. May they both Rest in Peace. Sincerely, Don Mahoney
