Funeral Services Celebrating the Life of Mr. Walter “Ed” Beard, III., 75, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, May 30, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Dr. Kevin Stewart and Rev. James Gardner officiating. Interment will follow in Kilpatrick’s Serenity Gardens in West Monroe, LA.
Mr. Beard was born on January 25, 1948, in Monroe, LA and passed away in West Monroe, LA on May 26, 2023. Ed retired from Graphic Packaging after 32 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Ed Beard and Jeanette Beard and his wife, Emilia Cawthon Beard.
Survivors include his daughters, Nikki Beard Kilpatrick and husband, Chad and Sabrina Beard Cole and boyfriend, Patrick Brown; grandchildren, Hunter Cole, Emilia Mae Cole, and Cora Kilpatrick Gray; sisters, Janet Ross and husband, Don and Gayle Bryan; along with several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Dan Windham, Steve Bryan, Gary Ross, Thomas Brown, Chad Simmermaker, and Clint Simmermaker. Honorary Pallbearers will Ed’s Crew from Graphic Packaging.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until Service Time on Tuesday.
Memorials may be made to the McClendon Baptist Church Senior Adult Ministry.
