Pat and Family,
Our hearts are so bereaved, as we too grieve with you in your huge loss of Bud. You have our deepest sympathy. Uniquely, in these last 19 years in sickness and in health, till death parts us, were more than words repeated in your and Bud's marriage ceremony. They were literally a way of life for you and Bud a life in which the love you shared was demonstrated more clearly, abided more nearly and cherished so dearly. You know, through the years, you and Bud did a lot of caring for and carrying each other. Of course, when the math is done, who's really counting? Obviously, your love for each other would allow you to do no other for each other as you did so with heart, mind and body. So, as Bud now rests from his labors, may you also begin a new rest for yourself. As for Bud, who could ever forget his great smile and a handshake or a kiss on the hand as he greeted others? Although we are sad, we are also grateful for Bud's friendship and of course, yours too. Certainly, the legacy of his great smile, handshake and kiss on the hand will be remembered with fondness, joy and gratitude. May the peace of the Lord be with you all!

Pat, Sally, and family.
Brenda and I were sad to hear Bud had passed. We have many memories of your family just around the corner when we lived on Fellsway in Charlotte. Good times as timers or judges at Barclay Downs swim meets where we participated together to have a great time socially and to support our kids.
God Bless you all!
