RIP Darcell. A fan since 1984. I moved from Lake Oswego to a rural village in Minnesota in 2017. Thank you for being a kind, authentic, and giving individual. I treasure my 1988 photo of us taken in your club. You have a beautiful soul.

What can anyone say but... Thanks For The Laughs, The Tears and The Memories.
I first met both you and Roc through my cousinsCarol & Cathie. I even was a part of sewing sequins on many outfits for one particular performer Myra Sims who I was very close to.
You helped shape Portland into the Welcoming City of Roses that it once was for all of us.
You will always be in my heart. Love and to you Always. Dee´

Darcelle was a good friend I have known for over 50 years and I loved to take people to his shows...just to especially see their reactions. He would always call out the "minister Susan is here." He even had me officiate at his wife's mother’s funeral several years ago. Dear Walter Jr, and Maridee if there is anything I can do to help you with the memorial, please don't hesitate to get a hold of me.
I am so sorry I didnt realize he was in the hospital. Many Blessings and Peace to you at this difficult time. Suzanne Avison Thiel, Bishop Roman Catholic Womenpriests-USA 503-784-3330 or [email protected]
