Missing you.

Roger and Pam Rayburn

May 22, 2024

We met Walter and Kathleen at St Matthias Episcopal Church in Monument during their brief time living in Colorado. After they moved back to Georgetown, we all stayed in touch. They returned frequently to spend time in South Fork, Colorado and we would meet them there to relax and catch up and just spend time enjoying their company. Sometimes they would stay with us in Colorado Springs, and we were fortunate enough to visit them in Georgetown and experience the community they loved.

He took his Bar-b-q work seriously but doing it was more important than talking about it. He loved golf, but doing it was more important than talking about it. He was the most passionate ambassador for the TCU Horned Frogs I ever met, (and there was nothing more important than talking about it).

Walter was a good, caring man with a generous heart. Spending time with him was easy and comfortable. He was the kind of person you could just sort of pick up where you left off and go forward when you hadn't seen him for a while.

We will miss him just as we miss Kathleen. We take comfort that they are now together again.
