Mr. Walter Dixon, age 82, of Albertville, Alabama, died on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at Albertville Nursing Home.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, August 18, 2025, at the McRae Chapel with Bro. Brian Gibson officiating. Interment will follow in the Marshall Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Monday from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Dixon was born in Alabama on March 23, 1943, to Roy & Bessie Hard Dixon.
Mr. Dixon is survived by his Daughter & Son-in-Law: Julie & Jared Baker of Albertville. Son & Daughter-in-Law: Mark & Jennifer Dixon of Albertville. Grandchildren: Spencer Woods, Clayton Dixon, Scout Dixon, Taylor Baker, Austin Dixon. Great Grandchild: Maddox Woods. Sisters: Opal Horton of Albertville, Doris Duke of Hampton Cove, Margaret Sims of Tennessee, Sue Turley of Delta. Brother: Sam Dixon of Tennessee.
Mr. Dixon was preceded in death by his Parents: Roy & Bessie Dixon. Brothers: James Dixon & Charlie Dixon. Sisters: Virgina Turley & Pauline Leslie.
Pallbearers will be Spencer Woods, Clayton Dixon, Scout Dixon, Austin Dixon, Kevin Chastain, Wayne Dixon.
Honorary Pallbearer: Maddox Woods.
