Thank you to all that have signed dad's guest book. This is such a special way of hearing from old friends. Please take a moment to visit the blog that we have set up, at waltergfaron.blogspot.com. Walt's granddaughter, Kelly, put together a wonderful collection of photos that are sure to bring back memories of good times past.

I lived next door to Walter & Mary in Buffalo on Grote Street when I was young. After moving to Arizona, my mom and dad(Blanche & Sam Sadlocha) were never forgotten at Christmas...always a card with good wishes. After Mary's passing and my dad's, Walter still continued to send his good wishes to mom. My mom is now in an assisted living facility because of dimentia but I'm sure she would send her sympathies, as I do, in Walter's passing. He was a wonderful man and a great neighbor. God be with you all as you go through this loss.

AWESOME MEMORIES COME TO MIND OF MARY AND WALTER ESPECIALLY HOSTING THE ANNUAL PIG ROAST AT BOB AND JUDY HONDZINSKIS, ALL SANTA'S PARTIES AND FAMILY GATHERINGS. WE CERTAINLY RELATE TO THEM AS WE HAVE ALMOST ALWAYS LIVED AWAY FROM FAMILY ALSO. THERE IS NOTHING LIKE FAMILY GATHERINGS CREATING FOND MEMORIES AND PHOTOS. THANKS FOR EVERYTHING WALT. WE LOVED YOU!

We treasure the crafts that Walter made. The wind chime he made is hanging on our front porch. Memories of the Christmas prime rib dinners and other warm times will always be remembered by us. Mary and Walter are missed in person, but their spirit is with us.

We are very sorry to lose Uncle Walter. Even though he lived far away, his humorous energy closed the distance. He just left a message on my mother's answering machine last week, and I could hear the spunk in his quiet voice. He has left behind some wonderful memories. I know he is with his loving wife and they are sharing the joy of heaven together sending blessings to all of you. Uncle Walter and Aunt Mary will be fondly remembered and sadly missed. Uncle Walt always had a way of making everyone laugh. I will always remember his great smile as well as his great stories. My children still play with the dominos he gave them. We are truly sorry for your loss. I'm sure Uncle Walt is smiling down on you all!

Although it's been a long time since I've seen Kelly's Grandpa Faron I still have great memories of his fun loving nature. He would come to visit at the Richardson home and when I would come over to see Kelly he had the warmest way of welcoming you and he was quick to make friends. He even had a nick name for me. He called me "giggle box" and he really worked to keep me laughing. I remember my cheek bones just aching after his visits... (He really made me earn my nickname). I'm really sorry to hear of his passing and I have my thoughts and prayers with all of his friends and family. He was a wonderful man whom I happy to have had the privilege of knowing.
