Walter Geter Obituary

Mr. Geter, a native of Aiken County attended the Aiken Public Schools. He retired from the Federal Paper Board Company/International Paper Company.
Survivors include three daughters, Doris (Lenwood, Sr.) Geter-Edwards, Tomika Geter-Moody and Leila Geter; a daughter-i-law, Tracy Jones-Geter; a brother, George (Mary Jane) Edwards; a sister, Rosa Lee Geter-Carter; seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Monday, August 4, 2025 at St. John Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Professional Care has been entrusted to G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-North Augusta.
