Walter Clyde Harpe

I grew up living next door to Mr. Walter's mother, Mrs. Harpe, and his brother, William. Mr. Walter was a dedicated brother to William, making daily trips to the house to make sure William was doing well. Mr. Walter was a very kind soul and a wonderful man. I don't know what William will do without him. Rest in peace, Mr. Walter.

Walter was a great friend of mine and many others. We grew up together here when the town was really small. When he left for the military, I wrote him a lot about what was happening here at home. In-turn, he would write me back about things happening over there in the military. He came home and we struck up the ole friendship again and we kept it till his passing. I was really sadden to here that he has passed away.
