In the early 70´s Walter lived in an apartment across the parking lot from me. I and my husband enjoyed spending time with Walter and listening to him play his banjo. A few years later I found out the Walter was living a couple of blocks away from us, living in a wonderful Victorian house. Stopped by to visit with Walter and Dori before moving to Florida. Unknown to me, Walter´s life intertwined with ours. Friends and coworkers were involved with the Helen Hayes Theater and the Rockland County Council of the Arts. We looked at relocating to Charleston, and my brother and other family live in and around Murfreesboro.

I'm a young engineer from Singapore whom he befriended at DesignCon in 2016 ,a conference the LeCroy group attended every year. He'd tell me stories over email about Dori, carpentry work and share some photographs he took. He encouraged me to be entrepreneurial by gifting me a book by his friend, John. I think I finally decided to try startup today with his speck of inspiration back then. You will be missed Walter.
