MANN (MANCHULENKO), Walter (Wally) Michael
August 13, 1952 - July 12, 2023
It is with loving hearts that we share the peaceful passing of Wally surrounded by family and friends at the Pasqua Hospital in Regina, SK. Wally had challenges with a very painful bad back for too many years and cancer that also affected his quality of life.
He is survived by his loving wife Marie (nee Achtzener); daughter Jennifer (Alan) Rae; son Mike (Sherrilee) Mann; grandchildren Brett (Megan), Amie (Travis), Levi, Nolan, Dayna, Korben and Mikki; great-grandchildren Finlyn, Paxton, Moxie; his brother William (Bill) Mann and numerous family members and friends, whom he loved dearly.
Wally is predeceased by his parents William and Jennie (nee Moroz) Mann, and his sister Patricia Sutherland (nee Mann).
He had many careers: cooking, taxi driving, painting, concrete work, house construction, real estate and in his final years, working with engineering on the pipeline.
Wally loved spending his time fishing, hunting, golfing, gardening, cooking, and baking (especially his special chocolate chip cookies and homemade raspberry jam), watching all sorts of sporting events (especially the Roughriders and the Blue Jays), reading, playing board games and cards with his wife, friends, and family.
Wally moved to Regina around 1966 and met lifelong friends Lorne and Reggie Hamann. The Hamann family quickly became a second family for Wally and many family events were enjoyed together.
A graveside gathering will take place at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East, Regina, SK on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.
We will meet inside the cemetery gates at 10:30 a.m.
