A great man. I parked his car at Nick and Authur's Restaurant in 1977. When he drove up, I was "stunned still". He was extremely kind to me, even when I couldn't find his car keys upon leaving! There will never be another diamond in the rough like Mr. Matthau... treating a mere doorman, with highest respect.

An Original, Original! A talented man. He played 3 different roles in Plaza Suite. The beer drinking coach in Bad News Bears. Drunk in the bar in Earthquake. And Grumpy and Grumpier old men. Walter Matthau will be remembered forever, Rest In Peace to another icon.
