Dr. Nelms will always hold a very special place in my heart, granting a start in higher education for me and standing by my family during the challenging times of the birth and care of my premature infant. He didn't have to do any of that, but he chose to. My heart goes out to his family. Please know he blessed many; I am among those whose life was made better because to his kindness. Best in Blessings!
