Walter Steven Podolski Jr., 56, loving and caring husband of Julie (Perlmutter) Podolski, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, January 29, 2026.

Born in San Diego, California on December 11, 1969, he was the son of the late Walter S. Podolski and his stepmother, Genny Podolski.

Walter was a longtime resident of Meriden and was employed by LeCor Technology Services of Glastonbury. He attended Congregation Adath Israel Synagogue of Middletown.

Walter loved animals, enjoyed all types of music, and especially loved playing his guitar. He also cherished his wife Julie's cooking and was an avid Red Sox Fan.

Besides his wife of 27 years, he is survived by his stepchildren, Jay and Haley; his mother-in-law, Marilyn Perlmutter; two sisters, Kim and Lyanann; two brothers, Dean and Darien; one niece; and two nephews. He is also survived by his special friends, Todd and Tammy Harwood.
