It´s been six years already, and I still miss you, Daddy. I love getting together with Pam and Bubba, and sharing stories about you and Mother. I miss you both so much.

January 22, 2021

You and Mother are still loved and missed. Ever time Bubba, Pam and I get together, we still laugh at having such a funny Dad. And, you still probably not understand why!

Its been four years since you went to join Mother. You left us with wonderful memories; and every time Bubba, Pam and I get together, we spend a lot of time laughing about you. I do worry about Momma - she has you and Hop to watch over! Hope youre behaving. I love you Daddy. Give Momma a big hug and kiss for me!

Our dear friend Carol and family,
Our condolences to each of you on the loss of your Dad, grandfather, father-in-law & friend. The absolutely hilarious stories you have shared with us through the years about the thing your Dad spoke and did says volumes of the love and laughter he brought to each of you. You all have been BLESSED and I'm sure continue to be as he watches over all.
Our prayers are with you.

I first met "Uncle Walter" when he was a senior at Texas A & M and my brother Frank was a "Fish" One of his closest friends was my sister Leota Kelly Hopkins and her husband "Hop" He was a great Texas Aggie and someone I felt like I knew all of my life. I was about 8 or 9 years old when we first met. We have always stayed in touch. The last few years I enjoyed being on his "email list" but have missed them in recent months. I learned of his passing from the Texas Aggie "Silver Taps" list that comes out weekly. I know when I get to heaven he will be one of the first I see and sure he will say Gig 'em Jim. My condolences to all of the family and I know we will all miss his presents on earth. My life was greatly enhanced just by knowing him.

Condolences and prayers to the whole family. So sorry we can not be there for the wake. Too many doctors appointments at that time. Thoughts are still with you

To my friend, Carol Ann, and her siblings, Pam and Bubba, my sincerest condolences on the loss of your father. I sure wish I could have met him. Just from the stories I've heard, he got the most out of life. He was able to teach all of you of the love he had of all the things the Lord has given us. He always made people smile and never stopped learning! I hope all of the family can bring smiles to their faces by keeping his philosophy of life close to their hearts. Never stop loving and living life! He's flying high now with the angels and his angel, your Momma. I'm sure they're both happy!
