Walter J. Rykowski

I was a friend of Walter's since 1957. We were also roomates in Bloomfield & Montclair for 15 years. He was the friendliest person I have ever kbown and I have nothing but fond memories of him. We remained friends until the time of his passing

I first met Walter in 1972 when both of us were members of a Jersey Shore Summer Rental at 500 Main Ave., Bay Head, NJ. We then became year round friends as he lived in Montclair and I in Nutley. He was always a very good friend as well as a great person. Both him and I continued with others to rent the same summer house until 1982. I last saw him at Siesta Key, Florida when he and his family vacationed during May of 2022 and again in 2023. I had been really looking forward to his return this May but was compelled to cancel due to his having a health problem. he had rescheduled for September of 2024. RIP Walter.
