Walter was a brother to me beyond a co-worker from our academy days to Capitol Heights Police Department Walter we know you're watching over us. You will never be forgotten.

I used to work with "Smitty" in Takoma Park. He was my back-up for many calls. I loved him like a brother. He was an amazing friend and officer. I'm so sorry to hear this. You'll always be in my heart

My condolences Walter and I work together at the city of Tacoma Park. Every time I will pass walk to he always had a smile on his face and will speak. I was the custodian there when he came into the city of Tacoma Park. May God strengthen your family and all of his friends rest in peace Walter God bless you all.
