Walter Torgison Obituary
Following high school, Walt went to work for W.R. Grace, until they shut down. He then went to work with Jim Allen, for a short time, doing carpenter work. After that, he went to work for the City of Libby, where he worked until his retirement.
Walter enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling with the Remps, and golfing with friends.
Walter is survived by his wife Mary; brother Dan (Diana); niece Tori (Mike) Myers and family; nephew Casey Clawson and family; great nephews Kyle McNew and family and Tanner Marshall and family; and niece Angela Marshall and family.
Services for Walter will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 9, 2026, at Schnackenberg & Riddle Funeral Home, 422 W 2nd St, in Libby. Online condolences and memories may be shared by visiting www.schnackenbergfh.com.
