We had a Children's Ministry under Walt and Alvas ministry in Arlington, Tx. during the 1970's. In 1983 we visited them when they ministered in California, and In 1986 met them in Atlanta, Ga for 100th year Anniversary and General Assembly for the Church of God. We visited Walt and Alva in her last months at Centerton, Ark. We visited Walt and his precious wife Betty in Chester, Ca in 2011. So Blessed to know him.

Walt Trumbo led me to Christ in 1980 in tulare Ca. He was and still remains my favorite preacher. I have often referred to his sermons of which I still have on cassettes, in my own ministries. My favorite was " what to do when God doesn't send a miracle ".my music ministry began in his church that year. I had great respect and admiration for him.
