Walter Velazquez Obituary
WATERVLIET - Walter Velazquez, 59, of Watervliet, passed away unexpectedly on December 3, 2025.
He was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico and was the son the late Ramon and Adelaida Velazquez. Walter worked for Tri City Rentals for many years.
He is the father of Eric, Walter Jr. and Catherine Velazquez. Walter is the brother of Scott, Mickey, Wanglee, Taelee, Chowlee, Zulee Velazquez, Louis Correa; and the late Billy Velazquez. He is the longtime companion of Carmen Valentin; and her children, Wilfredo, Michael, Chrystal and Gabriel. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. A prayer service will be offered at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. To leave a message of condolence for the family, visit www.CannonFuneral.com
