Walter W. Walsh of Ayer, MA, formerly of Everett, MA, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025, at the age of 84. Beloved husband of the late Linda R. Walsh and Survived by his first wife, Catherine E. Mack of Everett, MA.
Walter was the beloved son of the late Margaret T. Walsh, of Everett/Malden. He grew up in South Boston and Malden, MA, moving to Everett where he raised his family. He worked for Eastern Chem-Lac for 35 years, before retiring at the age of 63. Walter was a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus chapters in MA and NC. In his younger years, he would bartend part-time at the Knight of Columbus in Everett, MA. He loved helping others and fixing things. If he found something he could not fix, give him a book or website and he would be able to figure it out. He was an avid reader. He often could be found in a chair reading a book or sleeping when he wasn’t working.
Devoted father of Laura B. (Walsh) Mosquera and her husband Joaquin J. Mosquera of Germantown, MD, Randi L. (Walsh) Johnson and her partner Jermaine Campos of Saugus (formerly of Everett), stepfather to Jay Feinberg and his wife Bernie Feinberg of Pittsfield, NH, Steven Feinberg and his wife Linda Feinberg of Pepperell, MA, and Stacy (Feinberg) DiNatale and her husband Tom DiNatale of San Antonio, TX.
Cherished grandfather of Jonathan X. Mosquera, Zachary A. Mosquera, Rebecca E. Mosquera, Tanashia L. Johnson, Justin L. Feinberg, Jared Feinberg, and the late Jemma R. Feinberg, River S. Feinberg and Reisa R. DiNatale
Relatives and Friends are respectfully invited to attend Walter’s visiting hours in the Buonfiglio Funeral Home, 128 Revere Street, Revere MA, Thursday December 11, 2025, from 5pm until 8pm. His funeral service will be held at Buonfiglio Funeral Home on Friday, December 12, 2025, at 10am followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery at 175 Broadway Malden, MA.
