Wanda Kay Brown, 74 of Campti, LA, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at her home in Campti. She was born on July 10, 1951, in Shreveport, LA. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. at Thomas and Pullig Cemetery. The cemetery is located on Liberty church road in Martin, LA.
Wanda was very kind and loving to everyone and she loved her grandson Tater with all her heart, he took care of her until the end. She is preceded in death by her husband Art Brown; parents, Pete and Ruby Slaughter; son, Mikey Judah; 4 brothers, G.T, Billy, Dean, and Timmy; 2 sisters, Fay and Wilma Ray.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Kristal Brown; 2 grandsons, Tater and Joey; sister, Muriel Upshaw; nephews Bobby and Deano Pullig; nieces, Sherry, Carolyn, Marshia, Ann, Diane, and Youvon.
Wanda will be missed by all.
