Wanda Dickinson Massengill, 82, of Dalton, Georgia passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024. Wanda was born on June 6, 1941 in Cleveland, Tennessee to the late Cread Bain and Lillie Disney.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings, Billy Bain, Wilbur Bain, Myrtle Swafford, Beatrice Brackett, Gladys Earwood, and James Bain; and her grandson, Zachary Massengill.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Brian Wade(Christina) Massengill, Allen (Donna) Eugene Massengill, Faye Mason, Donna (J.B.) Bridges, Darlene (Tim) Allen, and Jeanette Elain Massengill; her sister, Rose Mason; grandchildren, Jeremy Mason, Katrena Akins, Tracy Jackson, James Bridges, Mandy Bridges, Melissa Sandoval, Josh Allen, Dallas Parker, Travis Massengill, Damien Bell, Paige Bell, Royce Massengill, Jeffery Rymer, David Rymer, Melinda Massengill, April Pene and Joyce Perez; 15 great grandkids, and 5 great grandkids; along with a host of extended family and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held Monday, March 25, 2024 at 2:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home of Cleveland with Pastor Fletcher Farris officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm prior to the service. A Graveside service is to follow at Straw Hill Cemetery.
