Wanda Garrett Fuxan

Wanda Garrett Fuxan peacefully departed this life to be with her Lord and Savior on June 7, 2025.

Beloved Wife of the late John Joseph Fuxan. Mother of Debra Fitch, Jacquelyn Kimball, John Joseph Fuxan Jr., Joda Najolia, Dayle Fuxan, Wanda Robertson, and Forrest Fuxan. Sister of the late Mary Elizabeth Donavan. Daughter of the late Myrtle May Stockstill Felice and step-daughter of Michael Felice. Her family was the center of her universe. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Wanda’s passions were vast and varied. She had a love for music, often filling her home with melodies that instilled a sense of harmony and happiness. Her green thumb flourished in her garden, where she found peace among the flowers she adored. In addition to her gardening, she was an exceptional cook and enjoyed sewing, hobbies that showcased her creativity and dedication to her family’s comfort and happiness. Wanda held family time dear and embraced every opportunity to create memories, whether it was through shared meals, walks, or simple conversations.Wanda's legacy of love, kindness, and familial devotion will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

Her funeral services will be held on June 14, 2025, at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home located at 75212 Highway 437 (Lee Rd), Covington, LA 70435. The visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and continue until 12:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM. Wanda will be laid to rest during a burial service that will take place at 1:00 PM in Eternal Rest Cemetery.
