Wanda Ruth Girdler, 82, of Crescent Springs, nee Tucker, was born June 18, 1942, in, Kentucky. She peacefully passed away on November 16,2024, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and cherished memories.
Wanda was the beloved mother of Brian Girdler and his wife, Tonya, as well as Scott Girdler and his wife, Janet. She also held a special bond with her sister, Pat Spurlin, who will carry forward the fond memories they created together. Wanda is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Girdler, her parents Wesley Tucker and Della Tucker, who undoubtedly played a significant role in shaping the wonderful person she became.
Throughout her life, Wanda was known for her love of cowboy movies, which brought her much joy and entertained her during many cherished moments. Her spirit for adventure and passion for storytelling made her a beloved figure among her family and friends.
Wanda’s family invites those who knew her to pay their respects during the visitation scheduled for November 21, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at Floral Hills Funeral Home - Chapel A, located at 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Taylor Mill, Kentucky. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, with her burial taking place at Floral Hills Cemetery in Taylor Mill.
In remembering Wanda Ruth Girdler, we celebrate a life well-lived and honor the love she shared with those around her. Her legacy will continue through her family, who will forever hold her close in their hearts.
