Wanda Carol Taylor Haydel

Wanda Carol Taylor Haydel passed away peacefully in Houston, Texas on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the age of 73. She was a lifelong resident of Addis and a native of Slaughter, LA. Her final wish was to be spread on snowy mountains which will be held at a later date. Wanda is survived by her daughter, Taylor Haydel and spouse Alex, their family, Amelia and Ellianna; honorary daughter, Michele Ramagos and spouse Brandi; sisters, Ada Louise Taylor Stubbs, Betty Foster Mattason, and Beverly Foster Brashier; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extend family members. She is preceded in death by parents, Clarence Edward and Lona Louise Easterling Taylor; sister, Deloris Foster Hopkins; and brothers, Earl and Bobby Foster. Wanda had a beautiful soul and a huge love for butterflies. She loved the outdoors and her plants. Wanda had a smile that could light up a room and a personality that could warm your heart. She was the true example of strength, bravery, heart and courage that will live on through the ones she touched and those who loved her. "Where butterflies rise, her soul is free."
