Wanda L. Hoffman

Wanda L. Hoffman, 81, of Moline, passed away on March 11, 2026, at MercyOne Genesis in Silvis.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday March 16, 2026, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Moline. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday March 15, 2026, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd. in Moline, with a rosary to be recited at 1:30 p.m. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum, where Wanda will be laid to rest next her beloved son, Jeffrey, who passed away in 1978. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Wanda was born on April 18, 1944, the daughter of Lester E. and Irene (Braet) Kolls. She was a graduate of Alleman High School, class of 1962, and worked briefly at Dials Finance in Rock Island. She married Gary Hoffman and together they had one son. Wanda was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was a devoted homemaker and had an impeccable eye for interior design. Wanda was a fan of the Boston Celtics. She loved all things Hallmark, especially movies and greeting cards.

Survivors include her brother, Gary W. & Teresa A. (Yakovich) Kolls and their son, Connor Jeffrey (Kelci) Kolls and Carra; many nieces, nephews, and a large, loving extended family.
