Wanda Long Obituary
She passed away on February 14, 2016, in Tyler Texas.
She was born to A.D. and Ilene Cheek Pool in Wise Community.
Wanda was a member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Whitehouse. She enjoyed collecting dolls. Wanda loved life and her family.
She is preceded in death by her Parents and Brother, Jerry Don Pool.
She is survived by her Husband, Willard Long of Whitehouse, TX; and Son, Willard Lee Long, Jr. of Whitehouse, TX.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to East Texas Hospice Homeplace.

My, and the office's hearts, go out deeply to the Long Family, especially Willlard. I had the privilege and honor of treating Wanda Jean for many, many years.for some of her miedical and pain problems. She is fondly and deeply remembered and loved by me and the office staff. She was a gracious and lovely woman it is is truly a loss; she will be fondly remembered. God bless the family. John Claude Krusz

Our sympathies to the family. Wanda grew up in Wise Community and she and her brother Jerry Don, and family were close and dear friends. We are saddened by this loss and our prayers are with you.

My thoughts and prayers are with Wanda's husband and son and all her family. She was loved by many friends as well. She will be missed!!! RIP, Wanda!!

I have fond memories of Wanda, the first house I owned we built a in ground pool and I think Wanda swimmed in it more than I did. I will miss her. Love you Willard and Lee.
