Wanda Long Obituary
Wanda was born February 18, 1947, in Blue Ridge, to Norman and Delores Stewart.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Norman Stewart and Delores Stewart.
She is survived by her husband, Dan Long; daughters, Melinda Faye Wilbanks and Angela (Ches) Adkins; son, Scott (Denise) Long; brother, Gerald (Sandy) Stewart; sisters, Patricia (Ernest) Long and Kathy (Randy) Brown; grandchildren, Cody (Alexis) Long, Justin Long, Nathan (Jamie) Long, Ashley (Bob) Petty, Kayla Petty, Kimberly Petty, Kevin Petty, Jase Adkins, Jonathan Wilbanks, Matthew Wilbanks; great-grandchildren, Andrew Long, Addie Long, Asher Long, Maverick Long, Sydney Petty, Kadie Radford and Addie Wilbanks.
Mrs. Long drove a bus for 30 years for the Fannin County department of education.
The funeral service was held Tuesday, January 2, 2024, at 11 a.m., at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with the Rev. Ronnie Abernathy officiating.
The following gentlemen served as pallbearers, Justin Long, Michael Long, Gerald Stewart, Kevin Petty, Nathan Long and Charles Parrish, Jr.
Interment followed at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellijay, Georgia.
The family received friends at Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Monday, January 1, 2024, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.
Cochran Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Wanda Faye Long.
