Wanda Sue Lucas, age 71, passed away Saturday evening, October 12, 2024, at Diversicare in Eupora, MS. Wanda Sue was born on July 20, 1953, to Glen Edwin Murphree and Peggy Crowley Murphree in Maben, MS. She was a retired factory worker for Red Cap Industries in Mathiston, MS. Wanda Sue is survived by her husband, Larry Fulgham, Maben, MS; one son, David Lucas, Hamilton, MS; five sisters, Glenda Crowley, Anne Jackson, Jean Cochran, Debbie Murphree and Pam Jeffcoats all of Mathiston, MS; one brother, Eddie Murphree, Maben, MS and six grandchildren, Phillip Lucas, Lexy Lucas, Chloe Lucas, Nicole Lucas, John David Lucas and Kayleigh Sue Lucas. She is preceded in death by her parents Glen Edwin and Peggy Crowley Murphree; her first husband, J.W. Lucas and one son, Dennis Lucas. Funeral Services for Mrs. Wanda Sue will be at 11:00AM Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora, MS. Interment will follow at Marvin Hill Methodist Cemetery in Webster County, MS. The Graveside and Committal Services will be held at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel instead of Marvin Hill Methodist Cemetery. Bro. Vic Nickels will officiate. A time of visitation for Mrs. Wanda Sue will be from 10:00AM until time for services at 11:00AM on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Oliver Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Wanda Sue's grandchildren.
