Wanda Nadine Lutz

Wanda Nadine Lutz, of Alexis, North Carolina, passed away on March 28, 2026, at the age of 72.

Wanda was born on June 27, 1953, in Gaston County, to the late Moses Odell Lutz, Jr. and Ellen Jane Peeler Lutz.

She was a caring and compassionate woman who found joy in serving others. She had a special love for cooking and baking, and her homemade treats-especially her well-loved blonde brownies-brought happiness to all who were fortunate enough to enjoy them.

Wanda devoted much of her time to helping others, often sitting with the elderly and offering comfort and companionship. Through her kindness, she built meaningful, lasting relationships with both those she cared for and their families. Among those she held close was Chris Miller and his family, whom Wanda lovingly claimed as her own.

She is survived by her son, Bradley Lutz; a brother, Phillip Lutz and his wife Laura; a niece, Emily Henkle and her husband Jimmy; and her nephews, Matthew Lutz and his wife Nicole, and Ian Lutz and his wife Robyn. She is also survived by her caretakers and "grandchildren", Chris and Stephanie Miller, Hailey, Emma, Alexus, and Lyllian.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellen and Odell Lutz; a son, Joshua Lutz; a brother, Clyde "Dell" Odell Lutz; a sister, Margaret Martin; and a nephew, Jacob Lutz.

Wanda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her kindness, generosity, and the warmth she shared with others will be remembered always.

She requested that no services are to be held for her.
