Wanda Joan Michael

Wanda Joan Michael well known as Joan, 78, of Ocoee, Florida passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on August 26, 2025. Joan was born on December 25, 1946 to Raymond and LeVera Main in Ocoee, Florida. She retired from food service at Ocoee Middle School in 2017. She spent her days working in the yard, tending to her Koi pond, spending time with her family, loved visits from her grandkids, and never missed an episode of her favorite soaps. She loved a good fishing trip and enjoyed a cold beverage while listening to the golden oldies on the radio on a Saturday night. Joan was predeceased by her brothers Raymond Main, Jr and Donald Main, sisters Iris Ross, Carole Adams, Gloria Mason, Rosemary Watters, Sharon Levins and Dawn Sue Stiles. She is survived by sisters Amy Bridges and June Moore, daughter Tammy Lewis, son Tony Michael (wife Nikki Michael), granddaughters Rachael, Brook and Sidney, grandsons Hunter and Tyler and 9 great grandchildren. She had an abundance of very loved nieces and nephews. There will be a private celebration of life at a later date.
