Wanda Kaye O'Donnell age 76 of Hubbardston passed away March 26, 2026. She was born on September 8, 1949 in Carson City, Michigan the daughter of Howard and Lena (Johnson) Sparks.

Wanda married William O'Donnell on October 18, 1969 and he preceded her in death in 2023 after 54 years of marriage. Wanda had her barber license for nearly 50 years and owned the barbershop in Lyons. Wanda enjoyed fishing and gardening. She also enjoyed spending time with her dog Roxy. Wanda enjoyed watching the NCAA Basketball Tournament, especially her MSU Spartans. She was a strong willed women, who wanted things done yesterday and she loved a good debate. Wanda was a very good cook. She enjoyed Moral Mushroom hunting and picking blackberries. She had a dearest friend, Monica Woods who said "anyone who ever met Kaye would remember her, she was a legend".

Wanda is survived by her son, Gene (Tina) O'Donnell of Hubbardston. Grandchildren, Remi Kaye Lyon (Thomas Snarski), Jeremy (Rachell) Bigford, and Anna Sanborn. Great grandchildren, Hayzlee Snarski and Aceten Bigford. Sisters, Dorothy, Diane and Marietta.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Lena Sparks. Husband, William O'Donnell. Daughter, Kayelynn Lyon. Siblings, Russell, Butch, Madeline, Donna, Vivian and Laveda.

Cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Arrangements in care of Lake Funeral Home of Ionia. Online condolences may be made at www.lakefuneralhomes.com
