Wanda Joyce Pike

A Bardstown resident, Mrs. Wanda Joyce Pike, 82, passed away Thursday July, 27 2023 at Bluegrass Assisted Living in Bardstown. She was born June 24, 1941 in Washington County, Kentucky, to the late Charlie and Alma Mae Smith Brown. Wanda was a former secretary at Bloomfield Baptist Church, she was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church as well as a member of Senior Citizens at Mill Creek Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents Wanda, was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Joe Brown and Wayne Brown.
Wanda is survived by one daughter, Leah (Mark) Bell, of Burleson, Texas; two sons, Victor (Tammy) Chesser of Louisville, Ky; Todd Chesser of Henry County, Ky; and two sisters, Dorothy Hilbert of Bardstown, Ky; and Faye Whitaker of Mt. Washington, Ky; she is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
In following Wanda's wishes, cremation has been chosen. A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 12, 2023 at 11:00am at Mill Creek Baptist Church with Hospice Chaplain Ray Johnson officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at Highview Cemetery in Chaplin, Ky. Houghlin Greenwell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
