Wanda Postoak age 89, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born October 1, 1935 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Parnosky Tiger and Ida (Boney) Tiger.
She graduated from Spaulding Highschool and took bible study courses at OBU in Shawnee, OK. She went to Oscar Rose State College in Midwest City. She was a sunday school teacher and womans missionary union leader at Central Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. She served in ministry for 30 years as a pastor's wife.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Nana, Ollie, Dickie and Albert; sisters, Emma, Anna, Joanna, Rachel, and Juanita.
Wanda is survived by her husband, Leon Postoak of the home; sister, Maggie Elliott, Nephews, Robin Tiger and wife Deanna, Christian Tiger, Jeffery Tiger; nieces, Brigitte Denmark and friend Tony Herman, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, also her dear brothers and sisters from Central Baptist Church.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in a state room at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home, 409 S. Wewoka Ave., Wewoka, OK 74884.
Wake service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025 at 6:30 P.M. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, September 13, 2025 with Kellos Walker and Frank Moppin officiating. Both services to be held at Central Baptist Church, 1755 N Meridian, Oklahoma City, OK. Interment to follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City, OK.
Pallbearers: Gil Harjo, James Gibson, Gabe Carpitcher, Cliff Werito, Eric Davis, Roy Larney, Felix Herrera.
Honorary Pallbearers: Robin Tiger, Jeff Tiger, Tony Herrman, Johnny Leitka.
Arrangements by Stout-Phillips Funeral Home in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
