Wanda Kaye Woods Rochte, age 66 of Stuart, Virginia passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Blue Ridge Therapy Connection. She was born in Patrick County, Virginia to the late Hassell Thompson Woods and Shirley Ann Ashburn Woods. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her only son, Brian Wayne Roberts; and one brother, Teddy Ray Woods. Wanda was known for her love of home renovation and was never scared to take on the next project and she enjoyed gardening. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, caring sister, adoring aunt, and devoted friend.
Wanda is survived by three siblings, Dedera Knight (Cecil) of Patrick Springs, Terrie Hazelwood (Ronald) of Stuart, and Kevin Woods of Patrick springs; eight nieces and nephews; Joe Woods, Amanda Knight, Henry White, Brandi Keatts, Samantha Hazelwood, Ricky Hazelwood, Lacie Hazelwood, Dustin Woods; four great-nieces and great-nephews, Logan, Michael, Harper, Rylee; her significant other, Jeff Jenks of Stuart; her beloved pets, Buddy, Duke, and Boots, and many dear friends.
A celebration of life visitation will be held on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at the home of her sister, Terrie from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Wanda Rochte Memorial Fund, C/o Moody Funeral Home, P.O.
