My name is Wanda Edward Sanchez, I’m a wife, mother, and Nurse Practitioner. I work at Del Sol ER and education for 14 years. I taught critical care nursing part-time at EPCC and Anamarc. I worked for AJ Ajarwal as his nurse practitioner for 14 years. I saw patients at Montwood, NorthPark, Vinton, and the Presidio Clinic. It has been my pleasure to call all of you my friends, colleagues and patients. I have loved you all so much. I have been fighting cancer for 8 years. I thank Texas Oncology for all the life they have given me. My wonderful Dr. Heredia and my chemo nurses. They fought bravely with me to the end.
My family has been amazing my husband Pedro Sanchez every step of the way. My son Robert Barton (disabled), daughter, Katrina Guerrera (disabled), my daughter, Barbara Morris (Marcus) New York, my 7 grandchildren ongoing.
I hope you will all look kindly upon them. So precious to me. I hope somehow I touched your life and your heart in a meaningful way and made you better. I wanted to pay it forward, hope I did.
Thank you all for taking the time to say good bye to me and acknowledge my family. Thank you all for being there for me in my hour of need. You were loved so much (Jeri, Betty Jean, Lisa)
