In Loving Memory of Wanda Louise Kirk Sanderson August 14, 1941 – February 27, 2026

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Wanda Louise Kirk Sanderson, 84, returned to her Heavenly Father's loving arms on February 27, 2026.

Born August 14,1941, in Carson City, Nevada, to Dean Roy Kirk and Marguerite Ruth Billington, Wanda was the oldest of four children.

Wanda was sealed to Val Wells Sanderson on May 4,1962 in the Salt Lake Temple.

She enjoyed reading, puzzles, games, reading her scriptures, and crocheting. She made sure that every one of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren had an afghan made with love. She loved plants of every kind and she made the best bread. Wanda was a true Elvis Presley fan.

Wanda was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she served for many years in the Primary as president, teacher, pianist, and chorister. She also served as a ward organist and chorister. She had a great love for teaching through music and words about her Savior, Jesus Christ. She served an honorable mission in the New York, New York North Mission for the church.

She is survived by her three siblings, Elaine Sanderson (Charles), Carol Witbeck (Ned), and Evan Kirk (Janice); her children, Carolynn Glenn; Tracie Ann Dymond (Dave); Connie Louise Cox (Dean); Kim Marie Albretsen; Dale Kirk Sanderson (Kim); Bonnie Jean Garcia (Oscar); Virginia Lee Conte (Dan, deceased); Val W.
