Wanda Singleton-Funderburk Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter-Allen-Myhand on Mar. 5, 2026.
Wanda Singleton Funderburk (Marchman), of Greenville, GA passed away at her home, March 4, 2026. She was born in Atlanta and lived a long and wonderful life in the state of Georgia. Wanda is survived by her children, Ashley and Kevin, her sister, grandchildren and many, many friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Richard (Ricky) Funderburk. Those she left behind grieve her passing but know she will always be close to their hearts.

Wanda was a rare person in this world. She was a loving wife and mother, loyal friend who could be counted on for a helping hand or a listening ear. She was a kind, beautiful person with a mischievous send of humor and an obsession with Harry Potter.

The family will have visitation on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. The memorial service will begin at 11:00 a.m..

I knew Wanda as long as I've been alive and I am so sorry she passed. She was my step-grandmother and she was special in many ways but one is her character. She will be forever missed and I hope she knows I love her -Amy Meeks, Step-granddaughter.
