Memorials may be directed to Wanda's family.

Wanda Jean, daughter of Joe and Faye (Hubbs) Slusher, was born on May 21, 1952 in Mason City. She graduated from Meservey-Thornton High School in 1970. Wanda spent 33 years working at Winnebago Industries, where she made lifelong friends and was known for her hardworking and dedicated spirit.

After retiring, Wanda returned to Meservey to care for her mother for eight years. She then moved to Clear Lake for two years, and most recently, spent the last five months in the Sheffield Care Center.

Wanda was a kind, warm, and likeable person who made friends with everyone she met. She had a heart of gold and was always ready to lend a helping hand. Wanda's love of family was evident in the way she made Christmas cookies to share with friends and family, spreading joy and sweetness wherever she went. She also enjoyed collecting Fenton glassware and Hummel figurines, both of which held a special place in her heart.

Wanda is survived by her sisters Doris (Terry) Markwitz, Pam (Mike) Gobeli, Betty (Mike) Jensen, Linda (Jeff) Stokes, and brother George (Mary) Slusher; nephews and nieces Liz (Pete) Rolwes their children Ava, Katherine, and Victoria, Lucas (Kris) Gobeli their children Hannah Faye and Daphne, Robert (Katie) Jensen their child Landry, Kelly Jo Jensen, Joe Markwitz and his children Ethan and Aubrie, Ashley (Steve) Riedy their child Skylar, Emily (Corey) Williams their child McKenzie, Zach Slusher, Brittany (Quentin) Mendlik and their child Avery.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother Joe and Faye Slusher.

A special thank you to the Sheffield Care Center for their tender, loving care for Wanda.
