Wanda Swenson

Wanda Swenson, 86, of Washington, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at The Loft in East Peoria, Il.
She was born October 6, 1939 in Charleston, Missouri to the late Claude and Edith (Shively) Crosier. She was also preceded in death by
four siblings, Clarence Crosier, Ruth Leppen, Don Crosier, and Mickey Sisk. She married Ronald Swenson in Peoria, Illinois. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Laura (Rick) Bess; one grandson and his wife, one great-grandson, one sister, Bonnie Collier; and several
nieces and nephews.
Wanda worked for Stewart Associates, Inc. retiring as an executive after many years of service.
She loved listening to Neil Diamond and Elvis Presley music. She greatly missed her dear dog, Maynard.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandson, her friends and family and will be dearly missed.
Our family wishes to thank her husband, Ron, for his love and dedication while taking care of Mom during so many difficult years.
Per her wishes, cremation has been accorded. There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date. Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory
in Washington is assisting the family with arrangements.
