I am grateful to have known Bub & Jo while serving as chaplain at Royal Park Place. Bub exemplified strength and gentleness even when facing difficult health challenges for Jo and himself. When I had to "retire" from Royal Park for a season due to family concerns, Bub gave me the best hug. When I visited him during his most recent hospital stay, he still about crushed my fingers with his firm handshake. He has been and will continue to be missed at Royal Park. I am just getting to know his sister Eris a bit - another lovely person. My sympathies to Bub's many loved ones. Sincerely, Cindy Nyhoff, Chaplain

I am so grateful to have known Bub & Jo during my years serving as chaplain at Royal Park Place. Bub was one of the most resilient people I know, overcoming significant health challenges over and over. He was truly a faithful servant of Christ. When I visited him in the hospital a few months ago, he still about crushed my hand with his firm handshake-he was an amazing example of strength and gentleness. The attached picture is of my (first) retirement in May of 2023 when I had to leave Royal Park to help out with family concerns. I regret that I will not be able to attend the memorial due to needing to pick a family member up at the airport at that same time. My sympathies and prayers are with Bub's loved ones.
