Warren Larson Obituary
Warren was born in Fort Atkinson on August 11, 1938, the son of Ruben and Lillian (Legrid) Larson. He graduated from Cambridge High School, class of 1956. Warren married Patricia M. McAliley on Feb 14, 1959.
Warren worked for J&M Carpet for many years before retiring. He played slow-pitch softball and bowled in the Thursday night league relentlessly. Warren enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping, and being on the Friday night "Chain Gang" for Cambridge football games. He was a member of the Rockdale Lutheran Church.
Warren was a dedicated sports fan. He cheered on countless games featuring his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as every Wisconsin sports team. He was quick witted and the life of the party. He will be missed by all those that had a chance to know him.
Warren is survived by his son, Dale; son-in-law, Vernon Dubois; grandchildren, Brook (Cory) Stenjem, Lindsey (Tim) Dahl, Chelsey Bauler, Bailie (Jacob Feit) Larson, and Adrian Larson; and nine great grandchildren, Carter, Clayton, Kinsley, Quinn, Beckett, Bentley, Colby, Matthias and Emery.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia in 2017; daughter, Amy DuBois; parents; brother, Robert; and three sisters, Ruth, Mildred and Betty.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at ROCKDALE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 107 Water St., Rockdale, with inurnment to follow in the church cemetery. Pastor Eric Bakken will officiate. Visitation will be held at the ROCKDALE LUTHERAN CHURCH on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and again on Thursday, from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
The family would like to thank Home Again and Agrace HospiceCare for everything they were able to do for Warren and his family.
